American Whiskey - Bourbon

Here is a selection of the American Whiskey/Bourbon we try to keep in stock - we are always adding to and adjusting the range so it may be slightly different than shown.

Jack Daniels - 40% vol
Jack Daniels Say:
We do things a little differently around here – and that’s what gives Jack Daniel’s its distinctive character. We charcoal mellow our whiskey drop by drop, then let it age in our own handcrafted barrels. And we don’t follow a calendar. Our Tennessee Sippin’ Whiskey is ready only when our tasters say it is. We use our senses, just like Jack Daniel himself did. In fact, more than a century later, our Tennessee Whiskey is still judged the same way. By the way it looks. By the way it smells. And, of course, by the way it tastes.

Jack Daniels Honey - 35% vol
Long awaited in the UK and with a big following in the USA, this is Jack Daniel's honey and whiskey liqueur. A mix of regular Old No 7 and a spiced honey liqueur, it's got spice, sweetness, floral undertones and a long smooth finish. Drink over ice, chilled or even in a cup of coffee - it's rather tasty.

Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire 35% vol
We stoke ten-foot blazes, rake red-hot coals and char our hand-raised barrels to craft every drop of Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 Tennessee Whiskey. But that’s only the beginning. Because it’s then that we expertly blend it with fiery hot cinnamon liqueur to create Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire. The result is an exceptionally smooth flavour with a delicious finish. And that’s why we like to say it takes fire to make Jack, and Jack to make Fire.

Jack Daniels Red Dog Saloon – 43%
This special edition bottling of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Red Dog Saloon, which was opened by Mr. Daniel himself in Lynchburg - the same town in which his whiskey is distilled. Bottled at the slightly higher-than-usual ABV of 43%, this would make for a most suitable toast to the legendary drinkery.

Jack Daniels Tennessee Apple - 35%
Apple juice and Jack Daniel's is a stellar combo (known as an Apple Jack), though the folks behind the whiskey have gone a step further and created this fruity whisky liqueur - Jack Daniel's Apple! Think vanilla-forward Tennessee whiskey and green apple, all bottled up at an approachable 35% ABV.

Knob Creek - 50% vol
When Booker Noe fathered the small batch movement over two decades ago, he created Knob Creek to restore the standards of pre-prohibition bourbon. The result is an undeniably big, full flavor that strikes your senses with a maple sugar aroma, distinctive sweetness and a rich, woody, caramel flavor with a long, smooth finish.
Knob Creek is crafted in limited quantities, aged 9 years and placed in only the deepest charred American Oak barrels to fully draw out the natural sugars. Then we bottle it at an honest 100 proof to reflect the flavor, strength and patience that defined pre-prohibition whiskey.

Jim Beam Red Stag Black Cherry - 40% vol
A love-it-or-hate-it whiskey from Jim Beam, who have flavoured their bourbon with natural cherry flavour to make Red Stag.
Jim Beam Say:
Through a special infusion process, our distillers start with our fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and then infuse it with natural flavors. The result is the distinctive taste of Jim Beam® complemented with hints of cider, black cherry, or cinnamon spice, truly A Different Breed of Bourbon™. Sometimes the uncharted path delivers the greatest rewards.

Jim Beam Honey - 32.5%
Jim Beam have taken their Bourbon and golden honey, and created this honey whiskey liqueur. This is perfect chilled down wi

Jim Beam - 40% vol
American as apple pie and a testament to quality, tradition and passion, Jim Beam® is the best-selling brand of Kentucky straight bourbon in the world. Seven generations of craftsmanship go into every bottle, along with corn, rye, barley malt, water, time and pride.
Jim Beam® is the flagship product of the Jim Beam® distillery, founded in 1795, and family operated for seven generations. It was given the name "Jim Beam" in 1933 after Colonel James B. Beam, who rebuilt the business following Prohibition. When you take a sip of Jim Beam® Original, you're savoring a Kentucky bourbon whiskey that has been produced essentially the same way by the same family for more than 200 years.

Jim Beam Double Oak – 43%
There's an old axiom that claims "Two heads are better than one". Can that theory be transferred to whiskey barrels? Jim Beam's Double Oak might answer that question. You see, they initially mature this bourbon in freshly charred American oak barrels, and then move the whiskey over to a fresh set of freshly charred American oak barrels for the second part of its maturation!

Southern Comfort - 35%
Southern Comfort (or SoCo) is a very popular American whiskey liqueur flavoured with peaches, American whiskey, herbs, fruit and spice.
You've undoubtedly seen on back-bars across the globe. It was first produced all the way back in 1874 in New Orleans by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron, combining classic whiskey notes with the fruity freshness of peaches.
Since its birth in the late 1800s, Southern Comfort has been used in countless cocktail and mixed drink recipes. It pairs particularly well with cola and a good slice of lime.

Southern Comfort Black - 40% vol
A robust whiskey-forward profile with subtle spice and fruity accents, our Black label takes the original Southern Comfort experience up a notch — for those who like their extra-smooth whiskey extra bold. Try it neat, on the rocks or in a classic cocktail.

Makers Mark – 45% vol
Maker's Mark maintain that they distil their bourbon to the lowest proof of any US whiskey distillery. This proffers a bourbon that retains a rich flavour. Developed by Bill Samuels Sr, he replaced rye with red winter wheat to reduce the burning sensation.

Woodford Reserve – 43.2% vol
The mashbill for Woodford Reserve features a high percentage of rye: 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malt. Unusual also for being triple distilled and having the lowest proof upon entering the barrel where it matures for at least six years.

Bulliet Bourbon - 45%
Enjoy Bulleit Bourbon like the Americans do! Previously it has been bottled at 40% ABV for the UK market, but now you can get the Frontier Whiskey at 45% ABV, just like they have in Kentucky. A stunning whiskey that won a Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2012.

Sheep Dog Peanut Butter - 35%
Well this is unusual and most exciting - American whiskey infused with peanut butter! Sheep Dogs are cool too, especially the one which adopted a pig and helped it herd sheep in the classic '90s film, Babe. This liqueur is a wonderful choice for anyone who enjoys a nutty treat, glorious sipped neat over ice, but will also add unique character to cocktails. A peanut butter Old Fashioned perhaps?

Angels Envy - 43.3%
Angel's Envy is a rather splendid bourbon that has interestingly been finished in Port casks! The combination of the vanilla-y richness with the sweet, sticky Port notes (which really come to the fore of the delightful finish) is a match made in Heaven - an apt saying, considering the name.

Ole Smokey Tennessee Salty Caramel Whiskey
Might be the best thing to happen to whiskey since, well, whiskey. Savor every sip of this blend of rich, sweet 60 proof whiskey that tastes like liquid caramel with a hint of salt at the end of it. Whiskey never tasted so decadent.

Howler Head - 40%
Official Flavoured Whiskey Of The UFC & Dana White
Howler Head brings together Kentucky bourbon and natural banana flavour to create a fab tipple that'll be excellent sipped neat or over ice. All those familiar bourbon flavours – caramel, honey, baking spices, and the like – pair wonderfully with the estery deliciousness of banana, so no surprises there. Howler Head will also do well in fruit-forward twists on classic cocktails, like the Old Fashioned or the Manhattan... and it was awarded a gold medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition!
